Light and Breezy in Napa

A few weeks ago the hubs and I went to Napa to celebrate our anniversary.  As we were walking around I spotted this cool brick wall and thought it was the perfect backdrop. If backdrops had a personality, this would be me.  A little bit urban-esque and and little bit vintage countryside-esque. (Don't mind the furrowed brow... it was a REALLY sunny day. unfortunately. and my eyes are super sensitive to bright lights. boo)

I'm not sure if anyone is a fan of the MTV show Awkard or not (my guilty please and i'm not ahsamed!) but this totally reminded me of the main character's hairstyle... which my sister lovingly refers to as "jenna hair".  So of course i had to text her a pic of my 'do.

Pardon the next few washed out pictures, it really was a very sunny day.

I saw this hi-lo dress at Forever21 and fell in love with it. And when i saw these Steve Madden shoes at Nordstrom, I immediately envisioned wearing these wedge heels with this dress.  I decided to accessorize with a simple rose gold chain. I felt this outfit was the right "feel" for going to Napa... a little casual yet dressy and comfortable. All i'm missing is a nice glass of wine in my hand.

Of course, every time we go to Napa i HAVE to hit up Bouchon Bakery for my fave pistachio macarons.

And for dinner, we headed to Bistro Jeanty for some delicious French food.  I ordered the Coq Au Vin with buttered noodles. Totally YUM.
